It's always fun to browse style guides from our favorite bloggers and fashion magazines yet at the end of the day, we live in Bend, Oregon. Towering heels aren't always applicable and we're often times more likely to find ourselves paddle boarding in the High Lakes than attending premieres. We're Oregon Betties, we get it. Ladies here are a different breed, we love our fashion but we want it to suit our active lifestyles. That's why we've put together a guide to camping in style.

Citizens of Humanity just shipped the most amazing slouchy canvas pants. Sure they're a different fit, but that's the point. They have an undeniable sexiness and confidence to them and would be perfect to wear around the fire after a day at the lake.

Ok, plaid is surely the obvious choice for camp wear, but there's a reason for that! We live in the NorthWest, plaid is casual enough and does a great job of hiding dirt and grime from days spent exploring.

Mother makes the most amazing little pant, it fits like jeans but is made with the stretchiest, coziest fabric that feels like your favorite sweatpants. It's a win win. Paired with Velvet's new tribal print cloak and you're all set to look gorgeous, be comfortable and stay warm. The camping trifecta.

Last but certainly not least, camping PJs. Just because you're in a tent doesn't mean you can't bring the sex appeal. This dress/nightie from Calder is perfection. Add some thick wool socks, a knit cap and a hot toddy and you're all set for a warm evening of camping elegance.

Don't be afraid to wear your clothes ladies; that's what they're made for! At the end of the day it's the memories made that are of most importance and clothes can always be laundered.
